{Event Recap} Mallory's Tutu Cute 1st Birthday

My good friend Marta, owner of Twinkle Twice a 2nd hand children's clothing store, asked me to help her with her youngest daughter's 1st birthday party. Marta recently started creating her own tutus for the shop (Tutus by Twinkle Twice). She wanted to use that for the party theme so she would have an excuse to make tutus for all of Mallory's friends (such cuteness). {Event Recap} 2011 Twinkle Twice Star

This past Saturday I had the honor to design another food table for a cute little children's store in Burbank, California, Twinkle Twice. Twinkle Twice hosted a contest to find the "2011 Twinkle Twice Star" via their Facebook page. An adorable little boy named Andre won!

To celebrate there was a big event on Saturday to crown the winner, including a food table designed by yours truly!

I was so excited when Marta, the owner of Twinkle Twice, asked me to help her. I had gotten to work with her previously for the grand opening of the store (link to Twinkle Twice grand opening post) and was thrilled she enjoyed my work enough to hire me again.

For my last design I wanted to stay true to the Twinkle Twice logo and stuck to pastel colors. This time I wanted the table to be a bit more vivid and less girly, after all this was a celebration for a little boy! I played off of the "star" theme in the title Andre was receiving and designed an electronic invite for Marta to use on her Facebook page to inform all of her customers about the big day.


With the invitation design in mind, I designed matching printables and a large two-sided banner to run down the middle of the table. It was fun to create a design that would be in the center of a room instead of pushed up against a wall.



I even got to create a little trophy for Marta to award to Andre!

{Event Recap} Twinkle Twice Grand Opening

I'm very excited to share pictures of the grand opening of a new kid's clothing consignment store in Burbank, Twinkle Twice. First, how cute is that name? The owner, Marta, wanted to put out a dessert table for all of her new customers. She gave me a list of the food and drink items and a copy of her grand opening flier so I could coordinate the design with her logo. And this was the result ...
