Of course the mommies also deserve a little break so we got our to enjoy some tea and snacks as well. I decided to set up one table for the moms and a separate, smaller table for the girls with kid friendly treats and herbal tea.
The first stop for the girls was the Easter bunny table. They picked up hats, white gloves, pearl necklaces and baskets for egg hunting after the tea.
At the girls' table they enjoyed bunny shaped carrots (with celery bow ties attached with cream cheese), ants on a log (peanut butter on celery with raisins), strawberries, sandwiches, hard boiled eggs and yogurt melts.
The mommies had a few more decadent desserts to nibble on!
The weather was beautiful. It was an incredibly enjoyable time. This is the first year our three year olds are fully grasping the concepts of holidays. Watching them skip around the yard looking for eggs all on their own while we got to sit and relax was absolutely thrilling!
My favorite photo of the day!
I got these adorable bows from Lil Princess Bows
All the Tea Lace printables will be up in my Etsy shop shortly.
Stop by again tomorrow for a fun little Easter giveaway!
