Aruna Seth Bridal Shoe Party

Today I braved both sun and hail (crazy LA weather) to see some fabulous bridal shoes. I grabbed shoe fashionista and former bride, Yvette, and we ventured into Beverly Hills to the SLS Hotel to see Aruna Seth's new line of bridal shoes. Warning, these shoes aren't for the budget bride! Their prices range from around $300 (for some stylish flats) up to almost $4000 (a shoe almost entirely encrusted in Swarovski crystals).

I like that the line seems to have a little something for almost any style bride. They have shoes with lace, crystals, metal studs, boots, flats, ribbons, bows, faux snake skin, and leopard. Not to mention a color palette from traditional white to feisty hot pink.

The one shoe styling I am not a fan of is the nude color, especially in the patent leather. It reads old lady to me, and even an older bride doesn't want to give off that vibe. A few of the shoes have crystals along the backside down to the heel. I love this detail but I noticed on one pair they rode up a bit too far on the back edge of the shoe. I could see this causing a blister on a bride's heel. I don't think this was intentional since there was quite a few shoes with this detail and only one had the crystals too far up for comfort.
